When the flowers bloom wrap top #S8608

I had no real plan. All I knew is I was going to sew something and it would be beautiful. The embroidered white crepe was my first choice when I looked through my stash. I couldn’t resist this fabric when I saw it on Ebay. When I first saw it I imagined a dress, but another embroidered fabric will find me when I’m ready for that. For the pattern I opted for Simplicity 8608. The size 6 fits my bust well. I extended the length of the bodice about 7in to make it a proper blouse. DIY Oversized Turtleneck using #S8738

Inspired by fall colors I was shopping for fabric on Ebay. I was specifically looking for a mustard knit. This gorgeous knit fabric came up listed as dark mustard, logan thinks it looks a bit more pumpkin and I may agree with him. Either way I really love that the neutral tone will go with everything in my closet. For my pattern I used Simplicity 8738. I cut out view B which has the option of thumb holes, I opted out of adding those. I debated between the size extra small and small. I ultimately cut out the size small, but the extra small may have been better. This sweater…
