Hi everybody! The second blog post this week featuring thrift store fabric! Much wow. This pastel fabric was one I found when I purchased the red dress material from my last post. I always seem to have good luck finding fabrics 😉 or they find me. The pastel fabric only had about 1 1/2 yd. There was a lot I wanted to make with this fabric. However, the size and the sheerness stopped me from going too crazy. Looking through my patterns I opted to go with a Mimi G Style #s8655. Hi guys! After making my gingham skirt I had the fabric laying around (literally on the ground, don’t judge me) so I figured I would make something else with it. I had recently picked up Mimi G Style pattern s8655 with Simplicity featuring a tie top. Love those for summer. When I first started I had the intention of keeping on the 3/4 length sleeve but as you can see I just left it at the drop shoulder.
