This is not the first time I’ve reached for this S8742 Pattern. I have a previous post on the waterfall style, but this time I went for the collar version. This plaid wool blend fabric is from Joann, I found it around this time last year. Unfortunately it doesn’t appear to be in stock anymore. DIY Oversized Turtleneck using #S8738
Inspired by fall colors I was shopping for fabric on Ebay. I was specifically looking for a mustard knit. This gorgeous knit fabric came up listed as dark mustard, logan thinks it looks a bit more pumpkin and I may agree with him. Either way I really love that the neutral tone will go with everything in my closet. For my pattern I used Simplicity 8738. I cut out view B which has the option of thumb holes, I opted out of adding those. I debated between the size extra small and small. DIY Gingham Fleece Jacket using Simplicity 8704
It’s no secret that once fall rolls around I just want to curl up with something cozy. I knew when I felt this luxe fleece at Joann Fabric Stores I wanted to make a half zip jacket. I know I’m not the only one who loves these, fuzzy jackets are always in style through fall and winter. This jacket will definitely take me through fall, winter, and a PNW spring.
